Carl Nelson, Barn Builder 

In this episode, we interview Carl Nelson, a barn builder who specialized in timber-framed agricultural buildings. Peg and Carl discuss some of his work on her farm, how he got started in this business, and the dying art of building timber frames with mortise and tenon joints (Don’t know what those are?
