Where should I park?

  • Overflow: Town Hall (171 Bridge St) or Coop Grocery (209 Maple St)

At Savage Hart Farm (2514 Jericho Rd, White River Junction, VT):

  • Parking attendants will guide you to grassy parking areas
  • From the mill: turn right onto Maple St (VT-14), go 2.2 miles → turn right onto Jericho Rd → 2.5 miles uphill to the farm. Look for Millapalooza signs.

How many attendees will there be?

Ticket sales will be capped at 100.

I purchased the Lunch Addon. How does that work?

We will have your lunch at Savage Hart Farm waiting for you. Each lunch will be individually bagged and labelled so you know which one is yours. If you purchased multiple lunches, they will all be labelled with the ticketholder's name.

Note that all lunches come with chips and a chocolate chip cookie (contains gluten + dairy).

I have a dietary restriction — will there be food for me included?

Meals are not included in the ticket price. We will have light snacks available, but if you have a specific diet, we recommend bringing your own food/snacks.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, kids are welcome.

Kids under 12 are free and do not require a ticket. Kids over 12 can attend with a regular ticket.

Can I bring my dog (or other pet)?

No, please leave your pets behind. The mill is unsafe for animals and Savage Hart Farm is a working sheep farm and we cannot have dogs or other animals around the skittish sheep.

What is the cancellation policy?

Millapalooza is a rain or shine event. Tickets to this event are non-refundable.

What should I wear?

The vibe will be casual and cozy so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. This event will take place on a farm and on grass, so leave the heels at home. Keep in mind this is an outdoor event; we'll have a big tent but no heaters so bring appropriate layers.

What if there's bad weather?

Millapalooza is rain or shine. The mill portion of the event is indoors. We will have a tent for the farm portion. October in Vermont can be chilly, especially at night, so be sure to pack layers.

Can I meet the sheep?

You'll be able to see Todd and Peggy's beautiful Corriedale sheep out grazing in the meadow. However, attendees may not go into the sheep fencing to pet or touch the animals at this event due to our event insurance.

What's the Fashion Show?

The fashion show is completely optional and very casual, but we think it’s going to be a highlight! At 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM, participants can fill out a quick card with details about their project (pattern name, designer, yarn used), and we’ll call names for folks to show off their beautiful makes. We tried this activity at our retreat and it was such a hit that we’re bringing it to Millapalooza — it’s a fun, low-key icebreaker that gets people talking, sharing favorite patterns, and discovering new ideas to add to their queue.

What's the Yarn Swap?

Got extra yarn looking for a new home? Bring it to our Yarn Swap table! Take what inspires you, leave what you no longer need. Any leftovers will be donated to our neighbors at rePlay Arts, a creative reuse art shop.
