Kick off Festival Season with Junction Fiber Mill
Details TBD
Exclusive Mill Tour
Learn how Junction Fiber Mill turns raw wool into gorgeous yarn as we explain the process from sheep to skein. Our small mill uses a mix of midcentury and modern mill equipment and we can't wait to show it off. Don’t worry, there will be time to shop, too!
Farm Dinner
The venue for our dinner is Savage Hart Farm. For over 10 years, JFM co-founder Peggy and her husband, Todd, have been raising Corriedale sheep on their small farm overlooking the bucolic surrounding hills. See the sheep grazing while enjoying dinner and live music under the big tent.
Live Music
Enjoy live music while you eat and mingle at the farm. Still Hill plays a unique blend of progressive bluegrass infused with folk, Americana, and old-time roots music. Their original songwriting, instrumental improvisation, and rich 3-part harmonies will have you hooting, hollering, and dancing, leaving you wanting more every time.
Gourmet Tacos
Enjoy creative made-from-scratch tacos made by local favorite, Trail Break. Savor a variety of inventive taco and side options, paired perfectly with local craft beer and wine. Trail Break’s mobile taco trailer will be on-site, ensuring fresh and flavorful dishes that are sure to delight your taste buds.
Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options will be available.
Maple Creemees
Experience a quintessential Vermont treat: the creemee. Made with local Vermont maple syrup, this sweet treat will cap off a memorable night on the farm and get you ready for the sugar shack at the VT Sheep and Wool Festival. We're so excited to have an excuse to rent a creemee machine!

How many attendees will there be?
We are capping this event at 100 attendees. Mill tour groups will be no larger than 20.
How will dinner work?
Trail Break will be setting up their fun taco truck on the farm and making tacos fresh to-order. You can go up to the truck and order at any time throughout the night. We will have a salsa + guac bar and sides set out as well. Drinks (craft beer, wine, and seltzer) will be available self-serve.
I have a dietary restriction — will there be food for me included?
Our menu can accommodate gluten free and vegan/vegetarian diets. If you have any other dietary needs, send us a message to hello@junctionfibermill.com.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, kids are welcome. Kids aged 2-12 can attend with a Child Ticket. Kids over 12 can attend with a regular ticket.
Babies (under 2) are free and do not require a ticket.
Can I bring my dog (or other pet)?
No, please leave your pets behind. The mill is unsafe for animals and Savage Hart Farm is a working sheep farm and we cannot have dogs or other animals around the skittish sheep.
What is the cancellation policy?
Millapalooza is a rain or shine event. Tickets to this event are non-refundable.
What should I wear?
The vibe will be casual and cozy so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. This event will take place on a farm and on grass, so leave the heels at home. Keep in mind this is an outdoor event; we'll have a big tent but no heaters so bring appropriate layers.
What if there's bad weather?
Millapalooza is rain or shine. The mill portion of the event is indoors. We have rented a tent for the farm portion. October in Vermont can be chilly, especially at night, so be sure to pack layers.
Can I meet the sheep?
You'll be able to see Todd and Peggy's beautiful Corriedale sheep out grazing in the meadow. However, attendees may not go into the sheep fencing to pet or touch the animals at this event due to our event insurance.
