How does Virtual Shopping work?
The link above will open a new window for our scheduling app, Calendly, where you can browse available 30-minute shopping appointments. You'll receive a confirmation email after checkout with a Zoom link. Use this link to join your appointment.
At the appointment, a staff member will assist you in selecting the skeins you want over Zoom. You will be able to see the specific skein you're purchasing. Moreover, they can help address any questions about our yarn and assist with determining the quantity you'll need to complete your project.
Preparing for your appointment
These steps will help you get the most out of your 30-minute appointment.
- If you have a pattern in mind, note what yardage you'll need
- Make a list of the yarns/colorways you're interested in seeing
- Ensure you have access to good wifi
- Have your credit card handy to place your order
During your appointment
Log onto Zoom using the link provided in your email confirmation at the scheduled appointment time. A JFM staff member will assist you in selecting your order. Once you're ready, we will send you an invoice for the items you have selected. You can pay the invoice using your credit card, or you can provide your card information during the Zoom session.
The fine print
- The prepaid $30 appointment fee will be reimbursed as a $30 discount on your purchase. If you decide not to buy anything, you will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- An appointment guarantees you 30 minutes of undivided shopping attention. At the end of that time, we will have time to ring you up and double-check your mailing address, and then we will need to prepare for the next appointment.
- Order invoices must be paid within 24 hours. We cannot hold specific skeins aside after this point.
- Orders will ship out on the next business day
- No-shows will not be refunded

Where is your retail space?
The short answer is: we don't have one! We are a working mill and use our space to manufacture yarn. We do have what we're calling a "warehouse retail space" in the back of the mill that is sort of a hybrid show room/storage space. It's seriously not fancy, so please expect to be right in the mill while you shop, not in a yarn store.
The mill is located at 101 Maple Street in White River Junction. You can park behind 87 Maple Street and enter through our side door.
The fine print
- The prepaid $15 appointment fee will be reimbursed as a $15 discount on your purchase. If you decide not to buy anything, you will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- An appointment guarantees that a member of our staff will be available to ring you up at our Warehouse Retail Space. You'll have 30 minutes to shop. This appointment does not include a tour of the mill, as we will have equipment running and we cannot have folks walking around. For a tour, come to our Open House.
- No-shows will not be refunded
