This stunning marled yarn is made from the fleece of heritage breed Jacob sheep, sourced from a small farm in Norwich, Vermont. Jacob sheep are known for their distinctive spots, and we’ve separated the fiber into three natural, undyed shades: light, medium grey, and dark brown/grey. Each ply is processed separately, and then carefully plied together to create this one-of-a-kind marled yarn.
The result is a rich blend of natural colors in every skein, reflecting the beauty of Vermont’s heritage wool. Perfect for creating projects with depth and texture, this yarn highlights the unique character of the Jacob breed in every stitch.

My photo doesn't do it any justice! Beautiful color, perfectly plyed, consistent thickness, no breaks or knots! A bit of dried grass here and there, but that's how you know it's real!
